What we collect

You can use the calculators without giving us any personal information.

If you save an estimate, we collect your email address and post code, the name you give the estimate, your pool details and cost plan, and any rating or comments about your pool build.

We do not store your email address itself. We store a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of it. That lets us find your estimates when you type your email in again, but it can't be turned back into your address.

When you ask us to email your estimate links, we use the address you type in at that moment to send the email. It is passed to our email provider for delivery and not stored by us.

Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to run and protect the site. We also use your IP address briefly to limit repeated requests and stop abuse.

Why we collect it

To save your estimate, let you find it again with your email and post code, and email you its links when you ask. Your post code also sets the state used for regional prices.

We may use the details in saved estimates, such as pool sizes, builders' quotes, actual costs and build ratings, to better estimate future quotes and pool construction costs. We use them in combined form and never publish an individual estimate or anything that identifies you.

We never use your email for marketing, and we never sell or share your personal information with pool builders or anyone else.

On your device

Your browser keeps a list of the estimates you saved, their secret edit keys, and the email and post code you last used, so you don't have to type them again. This stays on your device; clear your browser's site data to remove it.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits. It does not use cookies or identify you.

Who can see your estimate

Anyone with an estimate's share link can view its pool details and cost plan, but not your email or post code. Only share the link with people you trust.

The site owner can see saved estimates and their post codes to maintain the site and improve price estimates.

Where it is stored

Saved estimates are stored with Upstash (database), and the site runs on Vercel. Emails are sent through Resend. These providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers that protect data with encryption and access controls.

How long we keep it

We keep saved estimates until you delete them or ask us to delete them. We may remove estimates that haven't been used for a long time.

Access, correction and deletion

You can change or delete an estimate yourself from the device you saved it on, or after restoring editing with the link we email you.
